MP Shield

Water repellancy (commonly termed dry patch) occurs when turf soils suffer from severe, frequent or extended drought.  While there are many wetting agents on the market, only reputable products like MP Shield provide long-term relief from the symptoms of dry patch.

MP Shield is ideal for:
• Maintaining uniform wetting to maximise irrigation efficiency
• Improving water holding to prevent dry patch for longer
• Reducing leachate of valuable organic substances
• Increasing infiltration without harming delicate turf roots
• Draining wet soils to return air to pore spaces

Convenient, reliable and long-lasting soil wetter
• available in liquid form for easy application
• offers a high degree of safety - will not burn turf
• suitable for spray application or dosing via injection
• can be applied stronger to last longer
• results in less water required to achieve field capacity

Did you know ….
In their primitive form, wetting agents are detergents that strip organic oils from free draining soils.  Advanced products like MP Shield display lipophilic (attach to organic oils to resist leaching) and hydrophilic (attract capillary water to increase water holding) characteristics.
