MP Sustain

Water repellancy (commonly termed dry patch) occurs when turf soils suffer from severe, frequent or extended drought.  MP Sustain is a super absorbent water saving technology in a liquid form, that increases water holding capability of soil and in turn the effectiveness of irrigation.  MP Sustain keeps plant roots and soil microbes healthier by reducing the severity of the drying cycle.

MP Sustain is ideal for:
• Increasing water holding through retention of more soil water
• Slowing the drying of soil to maintain healthy roots and soil microbes
• Enhancing uptake of plant nutrients via biologically active organics
• Mixing with MP Strike for more powerful dry patch control
• Reliable tank mixing via infinitely soluble, patented formulation

Patented liquid formulation for reliable performance:
• apply 7-10 days after MP Strike for supercharged water use efficiency
• increase your strike rate when seeding, sprigging or transplanting
• useful as a dust control agent when sprayed onto bare ground
• use when hydro-seeding to control eroision and increase germination
• cost effective broad acre treatment when injected through irrigation or spray applied

Did you know...
Most irrigation water is wasted trying to rewet dry soils because of the hydrophobic conditions caused by organic waxes that form during severe drying of root zones. Reducing excessive drying (MP Sustain) and maximising re-wettability (MP Shield) are two ways that significant savings can be made to your water use.

Bicarbonates are alkaline salts that bind to calcium to form calcium carbonate.
Often irrigation water contains bicarbonates that reduce the availability of soil calcium, reducing pore spaces and stressing turf roots. More...
